Cisco Completes PostPath Buy
San Jose-based Cisco said Thursday that it has completed its purchase of Mountain View-based PostPath. PostPath was a maker of email and calendaring softare. According to Cisco, it will use the buy to enhance the email and calendaring functionality of its WebEx platform. PostPath will become part of Cisco's Collaboration Software Group (CSG). Cisco said it would buy PostPath on August 27, for $215M.PostPath was venture backed by JAFCO American Ventures, Matrix Partners, and Worldview Technology Partners.
