Darwin Ventures Staffs Up
San Francisco-based private equity firm Darwin Ventures said Thursday that it has appointed two new partners and a principal to the firm. According to Drawin, it has added Robert A. Young and Ken Hausman as Partners, and Sunil Kurkure as Principal. All three are joing from Mirador Capital. Young has also served at Curl Corporation and Dillon Read & Co. Hausman has served at Osprey Ventures, Mentor Venture Partners, The NASDAQ Stock Market, and Ingres. Kukure's prior experience includes roles at Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Charter Venture Capital and SVB Alliant. Darwin Ventures said the additions will give the firm a larger presence in the venture capital space.
