Milpitas-based LSI Corporation said Wednesday that it completed the acquisition of Milpitas-based SandForce. LSI had announced its acquisition of venture-backed SandForce in October. The deal was worth $322M. SandForce was venture backed by DCM, Storm Ventures, TransLink Capital, UMC Capital, Red Maple Ventures, Darwin Ventures, and Canaan Partners, along with LSI. SandForce becomes part of a new LSI Flash Components Division. LSI said approximately 190 SandForce employees have joined the company as part of the buy.
