KLA-Tencor Completes Acquisition of Vistec Unit
Milpitas-based KLA-Tencor Corporation has completed its acquisition of the Microelectronic Inspection Equipment (MIE) business unit of Vistec Semiconductor Systems, the firm said Wednesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Vistec's MIE business is based in Weilburg, Germany, and provides semiconductor mask and wafer manufacturing systems.
