San Jose-based DFine, a developer of medical devices for treating vertebral compression fractures, said Tuesday that it has raised $30M in a Series D investment. The new round was led by BBT Fund LP and Highland Capital Management and also included Prospect Venture Partners and Vanguard Ventures. DFine said the investment will go towards commercialization of the firm's StabiliT Vertebral Augmentation System.
