DFine Pulls In $36M
San Jose-based DFine, which develops minimally invasive treatments for stabilizing vertebral fractures, said this week that it has raised $36.2M in a new round of funding. The round was led by Split Rock Partners, and also included Orbimed, Prospect Venture Partners, Vanguard Ventures, BBT Fund/Apothecary Capital, Highland Capital Management and others. Split Rock's Josh Baltzell and OrbiMed's Jonathan Silverstein joins the firm's board with the funding.
