DFINE Lands $25M
San Jose-based DFINE, a developer of minimally invasive radiofrequency therapies for treating vertebral fractures, announced today that it has raised $25M in a funding round. The funding came from OrbiMed Advisors, Prospect Venture Partners, Split Rock Partners, BBT Fund/Apothecary Capital, Highland Capital Management, and Vanguard Ventures. DFINE said that so far, it has received $15M in a first tranche of the round. The funding will towards launch of the firm's Spinal Tumor Ablation with Radiofrequency system.
