Cisco said Wednesday that it is upping its efforts to sell to consumers, saying it has launched a new channel initiative to help resellers selling to customers in the home and small office/home office market. According to Cisco, the new effort--which it is billing the Cisco Consumer Channel Network--will provide resellers with resources, tools, and training for selling its Lnksys by Cisco product line. The program includes typical resources such as promotions, training, tech support, marketing assistance, and PR assistance.
