Ubicom Gathers $7M
Sunnyvale-based Ubicom, which develops 32-bit processors and software for embedded systems, said Tuesday afternoon that the firm has raised $7M in a Series 5 financing round. The funding came from its existing investors, which include August Capital, Mayfield Funds, Levensohn Venture Partners, Lehman Brothers Ventures and Investcorp Technology Partners. Ubicom develops embedded processors used for wireless routers and other embedded applications.
