ShopSocially Gathers $1.1M
Mountain View-based ShopSocially, an online social shopping site focused on allowing friends to recommend and discover new products, has raised $1.1M, the firm said today. The funding was led by Valhalla Partners, and angels Raman Khanna, Ashish Gupta (Junglee), and Darmesh Thakker. ShopSocially is aiming at helping users get recommendations for products from their friends. The firm was founded by Jai Rawat and Samir Palnitkar.
