Bigfoot Networks Opens Silicon Valley HQ, Hires Howse
Bigfoot Networks, a developer of networking cards aimed at computer gamers, said Wednesday that it has moved its headquarters to Silicon Valley from Austin, Texas. The firm said the move came as a result of hiring Michael Howse as President and CEO of the firm. Howse was most recently CEO of PacketHop, and served as entrepreneur-in-residence at U.S. Venture Partners. Howse also has been an executive at Creative Labs, S3, and 3dfx. The firm said that Howse was behind the "Voodoo" gaming line of products at 3dfx.
