Guava Technologies Acquired By Millipore
Hayward-based Guava Technologies, which develops bench top cell analysis systems for the life sciences industry, has been acquired by Massachusetts-based Millipore, Millipore said today. According to Millipore, it will pay $22.6M for Guava. Millipore said Guava had approximately $22M in sales of its flow cytometry systems during 2008. Millipore said it expects to maintain the manufacturing and commercial operations of Guava in Hayward.
