Linkage Biosciences Gains $2M
San Francisco-based Linkage Biosciences disclosed Wednesday that the firm has raised $2M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Greenhouse Capital Partners and James R. Fisher, who is a managing member of Fisher Capital Corp. II LLC. According to the firm, the funding round will go towards development and marketing of the firm's molecular diagnostics products--targeted at streamlining genetic testing. The firm said that Fisher Capital Corp II is associated with private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
