Ooyala Gets Win At Joost
Mountain View-based Ooyala, a provider of online video management technology, said today that Joost, the online video site run by eBay founders Janus Friis and Niklas zennstrom, will use its technology. According to Ooyala, it will provide ingestion, transcoding, and metadata management tools to Joost. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Ooyala said its software will be used by "select" Joost partners to manage their video uploads.
