San Francisco-based venture capital firm
KPG Ventures, announced this morning that the firm has made four new investments. According to KPG, it has invested in new funding rounds for
Lexy,
Wowd, and
National Payment Card Association, as well as invested in a followup funding for
Cake Financial. 1.25M of the investments went into Lexy, with specific amounts of investment in the other three firms was not disclosed, however KPG said the investments totaled $6M.
Lexy is based in San Francisco, and develops mobile phone information services; National Payment Card Association is marketing alternate payment systems for gas stations, and is based in Florida; Wowd is a stealth mode content discovery firm; and Cake Financial is Web 2.0 financial management site.
