Project Playlist to Add EMI Music Catalog
Palo Alto-based Project Playlist, a social media network for music fans, revealed Wednesday that it has bolstered its online offerings with digital audio and video content from EMI Music. As a result, Project Playlist noted, its users will have access to EMI's historical catalog as well as to current chart-topping hits. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. EMI's record labels include Angel, Blue Note, Capitol, EMI Records, Manhattan, Mute, Parlophone and Virgin.
