DRC Computer Acquired By Partner
Sunnyvale-based DRC Computer, a developer of coprocessors for accelerating security, high performance computing, and other software applications, has been acquired by one of its partners. According to Security First Corp., a provider of information assurance and data security products, it has acquired DRC Computer, and will make the firm a wholluy owned subsidiary. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. DRC was venture backed by TopSpin Partners and Capital Valley Ventuures.
