Northgate Capital Acquired By The Capital Partnership
San Francisco-based venture and private investor Northgate Capital, with $4.8 billion in assets, has been acquired by private investor The Capital Partnership, the two said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Northgate Capital hd been owned by Indian financial services company Religare, which had acquired Northgate back in 2010. The companies said that Ali Ojeeh, Managing Partner of The Capital Partnership--who has been on Northgate's Limited Partner advisory board for 12 years--will become Chairman of the board.
