StrongMail Acquires PopularMedia
Redwood City-based StrongMail reported Tuesday that it has acquired PopularMedia, a provider of social media marketing products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. StrongMail said it would become a component of the firm's "social media framework" products. PopularMedia is based in San Francisco, and was venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Steamboat Ventures, and DAG Ventures.
