Oraya Therapeutics Raises $42M
Newark-based Oraya Therapeutics has raised $42M in a Series C funding round, the firm disclosed today. Oraya said the round was led by Scale Venture Partners and Domain Associates; the investors also include Essex Woodlands Health Ventures and Synergy Life Partners, prior investors in the firm. Mark Brooks of Scale and Brian Halak of Domain have joined the firm's board along with the funding. Oraya is developing treatments for macular degeneration.
