InMage Grabs Marketing VP From Analyst Firm
Santa Clara-based InMage, a developer of disk-based disaster recovery products, said this morning that it has hired on Eric Burgener as its Senior Vice President of marketing. Burgenor joins the firm from storage analyst firm the Taneja Group, and has also served at Mendocino Software, Topio, Veritas Software and Dell. InMage is backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Intel Capital, as well as by Kumar Malavalli, who was one of the original founders of Brocade Communications. Malavalli is also InMage's Chief Strategy Officer.
