Bill.com Gains $8.5M
Palo Alto-based Bill.com, which operates an online service for bill management and payment management for small and mid-sized businesses, said today that it has raised $8.5M in a venture financing round. The round was led by August Capital, and also included DCM, Emergence Capital, and individuals. David Hornick of August Capital joins the firm's board with the funding. The round brings the company's total raised to $17M. Bill.com was founded by Rene Lacerte, who also founded PayCycle.
