, a developer of wireless testing tools, has been acquired by test equipment firm
Fluke Networks
. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Fluke disclosed the acquisition Thursday afternoon. Airmagnet develops WLAN security and performance management tools, Wi-Fi troubleshooting tools, plus other WiFi spectrum analysis and survey tools. AirMagnet is backed by VenGlobal, Acer Technology Ventures and Intel Capital, and says it has been profitable since 2002.
