Wanova Gets $13M For Desktop Virtualization
San Jose-based Wanova, a developer of desktop virtualization software, said today that it has raised $13M in a Series A funding round. The round came from Greylock Partners, Carmel Ventures, and Opus Capital. Wanova said it has created a new, distributed desktop virtualization product. Wanova was founded by Ilan Kessler and Dr. Issy Ben-Shaul, both co-founders of Actona, which was acquired by Cisco; the firm also maintains development centers in Netanya, Israel.
