HP Renames EDS
Palo Alto-based HP has renamed its EDS unit as HP Enterprise Services, saying yesterday that the move was a "major step" into integrating EDS into HP. HP had purchased EDS in August of 2008 in a deal worth $13.8 billion. HP is also renaminig its Technology Solutions Group--which includes EDS--to HP Enterprise Business. HP Enterprise Business also includes HP's servers, storage, software, and networking products.
