Hitachi Global Storage Taps Yahoo For CFO
San Jose-based Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, the hard drive and solid state disk drive arm of Hitachi Ltd., said this morning that it has appointed Michael A. (Mick) Murray as its CFO. Murray was most recently SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Yahoo!. Murray has also served at Sun Microsystems, where he was VP and Corporate Treasurer, and also was at Price Waterhouse. Hitachi GST develops hard disk drive and enterprise solid state disk drives, and is based in San Jose.
