Packet Island
, a developer of software-as-a-service for measuring quality of service for VoIP and video networks, has been acquired by BroadSoft. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Gaithersburg, Maryland-based BroadSoft said it would retain all of Packet Island's employees, with founder and CEO Praveen Kumar becoming Chief Technologist at BroadSoft.
