Data Robotics, a maker of data storage products, has raised $10M in a Series E funding round, the firm said Thursday. The round was led by Focus Ventures, and also included Greylock Partners, New Enterprise Associates, RRE Ventures, and Sutter Hill Ventures. The company said the new funding round would go to accelerate its R&D programs, as well as to expand sales and marketing. Data Robotics develops Drobo, a Firewire based storage device supporting up to 16TB of storage.
