Sifteo Acquired By 3D Robotics
San Francisco-based interactive toy maker Sifteo has been acquired by 3D Robotics, the personal drone and UAV maker headed by former Wired editor Chris Anderson. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. 3D Robotics is based in Berkeley, and is funded by Mayfield. 3D Robotics was venture backed by True Ventures and Foundry Group.
