Google Drops Storage Pricing
Mountain View-based Google said late Tuesday evening that it is "dramatically lowering" its prices on extra storage, for products like Picasa Web Albums and Gmail. The firm said it is now pricing storage at 20GB for only $5 a year, which it says is twice the storage for a quarter of what it was charging. The new storage plan offers up to 16TB of online storage.
