Actuate Pays $35.5M For Xenos

, a developer of business intelligence and reporting tools, said Tuesday that it has paid $35.5M to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Xenos Group, a developer of business intelligence software. The firm said the deal came as a take over bid of CAD$3.50 per share for publicly held Xenos. Xenos was represented by Pagemill Partners, Frasier Mackenzie Limited, and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in the deal; Actuate was advised by Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC.
