Actuate Buys Spanish Software Company
San Mateo-based Actuate said Tuesday that it has acquired Quinterian S.L., a provider of data mining, social media analytics, and predictive analytics software. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Actuate said that Quiterian's customers include Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange, La Caixa, Deutsche Bank, Volkswagen, BBVA, Renault, Bayer and others.
