Cloudmark Buys Bizanga
San Francisco-based Cloudmark, a developer of messaging security technology, said late Tuesday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bizanga, a developer of email messaging and security software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bizanga was based in San Mateo, and venture backed by Credit Agricole Private Equity and Galileo Partners. As part of the acquisition, the management team of Bizanga, led by Jerome Lecat, is spinning off BizangaStore, which will focus on delivering scalable storage software for the email market.
