Proofpoint Acquires Cloudmark For $110M
Sunnyvale-based cybersecurity software developer Proofpoint said this morning that it is acquiring San Francisco-based Cloudmark in a deal worth $110M in cash. Cloudmark is a developer of messaging security and threat intelligence for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and mobile carriers. Cloudmark was venture backed by Ignition Partners, Industry Ventures, Nokia Venture Partners, Summit Partners, and FTVentures.
