Apple said this morning that it has set a launch date for its new Apple iPad. According to Apple, the new device will be available in the U.S. on Saturday, April 3rd, for the Wi-Fi only version of the device. Pre-orders for the device will start on March 12th. Apple said it will also roll out the Wi-Fi plus 3G model later in April, as well as make the device available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. The new iPad device will start a $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version.
