Google Buys DocVerse
Mountain View-based Google said Friday that it has acquired DocVerse, a a maker of Microsoft Office collaboration tools. Google did not say what it would be doing with DocVerse, but did say it would be suspending new signups to DocVerse's service until it's ready to share its plans. Current users of DocVerse will continue to have access to the service. The deal was reportedly worth $25M.
