Clarus Ventures Names Venture Partner
San Francisco- and Cambridge-based life science venture capital firm Clarus Ventures announced this morning that it has named William D. Young as a Venture Partner at its San Francisco Office. Young was most recently CEO of Monogram Biosciences, where he was CEO until its sale to LabCorp in 2009. He has also served at Genentech and Eli Lilly. According to Clarus, Young serves on the boards of Biogen IDEC, Theravance, and NanoString.
