San Jose-based
SunPower said today that it has completed its acquisition of SunRay Renewable Energy, a developer of European power plants. The deal was worth approximately $277M, including $263M in cash plus $14M in promissory notes. According to SunPower, the acquisition has expanded its project pipeline, to include more than 1,200 megawatts of solar power projects in Italy, France, Israel, Spain, the UK, and Greece.
