Palo Alto-based
HP said this morning that it has completed its $2.7 billion acquisition of
3Com Corporation. HP paid $7.90 per share in cash for 3Com. According to HP, it will integrate 3Com's networking switching, routing, and security products with its HP ProCurve solution line. HP said the buy bolsters its Ethernet offerings, as well as its position in China.
