Among the new features of the software are the "SkyBar", a toolbar which allows users to view Flash videos through behind-the-scenes conversion of those videos into html5. The company says it has created the "first mobile browser for the social media generation." Skyfire is venture backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix Partners and Trinity Partners.
