Playdom Buys Acclaim Games
Mountain View-based social gaming developer Playdom said last night that it has acquired Acclaim Games, a developer of casual and social networking games. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Playdom said the move will give it access to game development talent in Southern California. Acclaim wil run as an independent studio for Playdom, headed by Acclaim CEO Howard Marks.
