Zynga Pays Out $20.5M In Stock For Challenge Games
A regulatory filing from Zynga Game Network Friday afternoon indicates that the firm recently issued $20.5M in stock, related to a recent acquisition by the firm, most likely Austin-based Challenge Games. Zynga announced earlier this week that it had acquired Challenge Games, but did not disclose any financial details. Challenge was backed by Sequoia Capital and Globespan Capital Partners, and had raised around $14.5M in funding.
