Phoenix Technologies Completes HyperSpace Asset Sale
Milpitas-based Phoenix Technologies, which develops BIOS software for the PC market, reported today that it has completed its asset sale of its HyperSpace, HyperCore, and PHoenix Flip instant-on and client virtualization products to HP. The deal was worth approximately $12.0M. Phoenix had said earlier this month that it would be selling those products to better focus on its core systems software (CSS) business.
