DFJ, Cisco Name Finalists In Business Plan Competition
Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Cisco announced the finalists in the two firms' Global Business Plan Competition for University and business school students Wednesday, picking a wide range of teams from the US, UK, Israel, China, Russia, India and Brazil to compete for the $250,000 seed investment prize. According to the two, Ambiq Micro, Cambridge Nanotubes, CellTV, Commuter Advertising, Deli Worm, Digital Proctor, Epythia, F.A.N. Media, FayShine, GlucaGo, IOS Financial, Lark Technologies, MicroMed, Nanodyne, OsComp Systems, and Silicon Reef all will compete for the top prize in the competition on June 29th. The business plan competition has teams pitch their startups via Cisco teleconferencing equipment.
