Responsys Buys Australian Email Marketing Firm
San Bruno-based Responsys said this morning that it has acquired a majority stake in Austrlian email marketing provider Eservices Group Pty Ltd. According to Responsys, Eservices is one of the largest email and cross-channel marketing services providers in Australia, and counts News Digital Media, Vodafone Hutchison, AFL Bigpond, Transurban and FlyBuys as clients. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclose. Responsys said it would rename the firm as EservicesResponsys. Responsys said that the buy is a "strategic growth opportunity" for the firm.
