Skype, the Internet calling service recently sold by eBay, has filed for an IPO, according to a filing by the firm. According to the filing, Skype is looking to raised $100M through an ADR offering on the Nasdaq. Skype is now owned by Silver Lake partners, Andreessen Horowitz, and Skype founders Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis, through their firm Joltid. Skype said it intends to list its ADR on the Nasdaq Global market. The IPO is being underwritten by Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays Capital, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, Lazard Capital Markets, RBC Capital Markets, UBS Investment Bank, Allen & Company LLC, and Evercore Partners.
