Kno Gets $46M For Electronic Textbooks

Kno
, a maker of digital textbook hardware, has raised $46M in a new funding round, the firm announced today. The funding came from Andreessen Horowitz, and also included debt from Silicon Valley Bank and TriplePoint Capital. Kno is developing large-format, digital textbook focused tablet computers, and is headed by Osman Rashid. Kno was formerly known as Kakai.
