Inkling Gets $16M For Digital Textbooks
San Francisco-based Inkling said this morning that it has raised $16M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Sequoia Growth Fund, and also included Sequoia Capital, Felicis Ventures, Tenaya Capital, and JAFCO Technology Partners. Inkling also said it has reached a deal with Pearson and Elsevier, where those publishers will use its technology to publish their own textbooks.
