San Jose-based Cisco said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Arch Rock, developer of Internet Protocol wireless network technology aimed at the smart grid utility sector. Arch Rock was based in San Francisco. Cisco said Arch Rock's team becomes part of its Smart Grid business unit. The deal was originally announced on Spetember 2nd, and financial details of the buy have not been announced. Arch Rock was venture backed by Intel Capital, New Enterprise Associates, and Shasta Ventures.
