ePlanet Invests In Indian Energy Firm, Auro Mira
Redwood City-based ePlanet Ventures said Monday that it has invested $4.8M in Auro Mira Energy Company Private Limited (AME), based in India. According to ePlanet, the investment came as part of a $21M, second round of funding for AME, which also included Aureos South Asia Fund and International Finance Corporation. AME is developing reneable energy projects, including small hydro and biomass energy generation.
